Thanks for the comment Ann, Port Dalhousie, terminus for the first three Welland Canals, is part of St. Catharines, on Lake Ontario, just minutes from Niagara Falls, There are actually two lighthouses there, both built in the 1800s, an antique carousel that still offers rides for a nickel, and the smallest, oldest standing jail in Ontario. It's a delightful place to wander!!

Beautiful, Peggy. What a neat lighthouse! The sailboat and the approaching freighter complete the gorgeous Great Lakes scene. Lake Erie or Lake Ontario? My geography suffers a bit there.
